The agenda of Integration of Naqli and Aqli Knowledge (INAQ) has been introduced in Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) ever since its establishment. Indeed, USIM in its internalization of this agenda has clearly enshrined this mission in its philosophy, mission and theme of the institution. Even though INAQ has been seen as the main agenda for USIM, the disseminated literatures on INAQ are yet to be published adequately for public reference. This writing is aimed to explain the understanding of Tawhid and its relation to the philosophy of knowledge in INAQ framework. It is also aimed to highlight why INAQ is pursued and what to achieve, as well as the inclusive meaning and the concept of INAQ. The textual analysis that requires analytical reading is applied in analyzing selected relevant topics of contemporary prominent Muslims intelectuals. This writing can initiate a true general overview of the knowledge integration in the academic curriculum and research. The right understanding of Tawhid can be the important foundation to integrate all other discussion of knowledge that can ensure the executions in academic practices are right, holistic, relevant and dynamic.
