PUBLICATION ETHICS AND MALPRACTICE STATEMENT FOR AL-ABQARI JOURNAL OF ISLAMIC SOCIAL SCIENCES AND HUMANITIES
(Al-Abqari Journal statement based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors)
Al-Abqari is dedicated to presenting, promote, enhance and contribute to an inclusive understanding of Islam and Muslim in contemporary world. Al-Abqari serves as a forum for studies, research, critical debates and multiple perspectives on the frame of integration of naqli and aqli knowledge. The scopes of this journal are on Dakwah and Islamic Management, Islamic Leadership, Usuluddin and Comparative Religion, Islamic Philosophy and Thought, Islamic Ethics and Sufism, Communication and Media Studies, Counseling and Psychology, Community Development, Studies in Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation, as well as Language and Communication.
The Editorial Board is responsible for preventing publication malpractice. Unethical behaviour is unacceptable and Al-Abqari does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. Authors who submit articles to the Al-Abqari affirm that manuscript contents are original. Submission also implies that the manuscript has not been published previously in any language, either fully or partly, and is not currently submitted for publication elsewhere.
III.DUTIES OF THE AUTHORS
Fundamental errors in published works: When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her submitted manuscript, the author must immediately notify the editor.

Al-Abqari is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
