1- Submission guidelines
Al-Abqari is dedicated to presenting, promote, enhance and contribute to an inclusive understanding of Islam and Muslim in contemporary world to mention the fields of study accepted. The Editorial Board is responsible for preventing publication malpractice. Unethical behavior is unacceptable and Al-Abqari does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. Authors who submit articles to Al-Abqari affirm that manuscript contents are original. Submission also implies that the manuscript has not been published previously in any language, either fully or partly, and is not currently submitted for publication elsewhere.
Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
An abstract lenght; not more than 300 words. For Malay or Arabic manuscript an ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT AND TITLE IN ENGLISH must be accompanied with the manuscript. Keywords of three (3) to five (5) words.
Manuscript should be written using the following format:
- Type : Microsoft Word
- Font type : Times New Roman
- Font size : 12
- Spacing : 1.0
The length of the article should not be more than 7000 words in length (excluding the abstract, references, tables and/or figures).
Manuscripts in general should be organized in the following order:
Page 1: Running title. (Not to exceed 60 characters, counting letters and spaces). This page should only contain the running title of your paper. The running title is an abbreviated title used as the running head on every page of the manuscript. In addition, the Subject areas most relevant to the study must be indicated on this page. Select the appropriate subject areas from the Scope of the Journals provided in the Manuscript Submission Guide.
Page 2: Author(s) and Corresponding author information. This page should contain the full title of your paper with name(s) of all the authors, institutions and corresponding author's name, institution and full address (Street address, telephone number (including extension), hand phone number, fax number and e-mail address) for editorial correspondence.
Text. Regular Papers should be prepared with the headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions in this order.
Illustrations. Tables, figures and plates should not be inserted within the pages of the manuscript but should be submitted on separate sheets attached to the article.
Tables should be prepared with the minimum use of horizontal rules (usually three are sufficient) and avoiding vertical rules.
It is important to provide clear copy of figures (not photocopies or faxes) which can be reproduced by the printer and do not require redrawing.
Citation Format/References. The Abqari journal follows the APA (American Psychological Association) style for all in-text citation and Chicago style for footnote referencing system. List of References/Bibliography should include (in alphabetical order by author) every work cited in the text. Authors are asked to ensure that dates, spelling and titles are used in the References are consistent with those listed in the text.
